It came with a label that said it was a broiler element instead of a bake element, but after a few messages to and from the seller, we determined that it was a bake element with the wrong label on it from the factory.     Plastic to the rescue!

    Had to purchase this product since the handle on my Whirlpool dryer door decided to give way one morning. Only about a dozen Phillips head screws and I was able to disassemble the dryer door and remove the old part (keep in mind, you will need to remove the door from the dryer to take it completely apart). Just be careful when snapping the new part into place. The plastic seems somewhat brittle and there is that chance one of the plastic tabs that hold the part into place could break...in fact, I think I just convinced myself to order a spare in case this happens again. On a difficulty level, I would give this job a 2 out of 10...not much to it.

    Dryer door handle

    Perfect fit for my Amana dryer door handle. Good value and fast shipper. I give it a 3 star rating and not a 5 because the ad pictures a bright white handle. When the handle arrived it was a cream color. Nowhere in the ad does it offer a choice of color so I assumed it was white like in the picture of the ad details.

    Works great

    We got our dryer a year and a half ago and the handle broke off. I called the store customer service for help finding a replacement part and they wanted about $30 for the certified original part it comes with. Well, it came with the original part that broke in the first place, so I’m glad I found a much cheaper replacement that is just as good, if not better. Time will tell, but it’s a perfect fit and seems sturdy so far.

    Should do the job, with better handling on my part.

    The handle installed easily and it does seem to be the same quality as the original that broke. These handles can be found for much more money online, so I hope it will last a while, especially since I am opening my dryer door more carefully. In the past, I put my hand in at the top edge and pulled, which put more strain on the upper edge. That is what broke first. Even after the top edge broke, when I was more careful to open with an even top to bottom pressure, I was able to use the old broken handle for months. Now that I'm taking more care to open my dryer with even pressure, I expect it will last much longer. It would be nice if they used a sturdier handle the first time, or warned buyers how to use even pressure. Overall, for the price, I'm happy.

    This handle a good deal for the money. can't go wrong.

    This handle is a sixth of the price of a comparable handle from an appliance parts supply house. Comments were made on line about differing part numbers and this one is different than my original but fits perfectly. No way can you tell it's not a factory original part. Absolutely no complaints............
