    working in acer aspire 5551.

    Fitted in acer aspire 5551 as speculative upgrade (not listed as an option in original specification) three core to four core. It seems to work but only running it for a few days. I wasn't expecting it to be easy to install in a lap top computer.

    Arrived quickly. Item is satisfactory and as advertised.

    I checked the specifications, this is the maximum CPU my laptop can use. It worked right away, after I realized that my AC adapter had died. Strangely, Windows 10 didn't recognize that it was a different CPU even after shutdown + power up, but it did after a Restart. It seems that in Windows 10 "Shutdown" really means "Hibernate", and Windows only checks the CPU info upon cold start.
