    A Beast of a Motherboard

    I purchased this board as the price vs feature set was good. For an average of $200 USD you get so many pro spec features that are really useful. Things like 2 way SLI support and RAID of PCI-E M.2 SSD. The Z270 chip is amazing. 24 PCI-E lines for many things. This allows for a pair of video cards to work in x8 mode each and leave 8 lines empty for the M.2 slots. This board allows for up to 3 NVME spec spec drives in form of twin M.2 and a standard PCI-E x4 SSD to all work together in RAID. In RAID 0 stripe array the access speeds are insane if a pair of good drives are selected. I personally have a pair of fast drives and in RAID 0 I hit the maximum IO of the CPU at 3.5 GB a second. MY drives could go as far as 4.5GB or possibly 5GB if the CPU had more IO support for faster speed. Then ...

    Great board for my 6700k, very cheap but still has huge performance. Feels a lot smoother and faster than my old z170 board.
