The thing is to find a builder / seller that uses them.

The 3.6" Sandvik 12C27 blade holds a sharp edge, resists rust, and is easy to maintain. The rosewood handle is beautifully finished and fits the hand comfortably. Great value for the quality. Item arrived quickly, well packed, and just as described. Have bought many knives from this seller and is consistently reliable with excellent communication. Highly recommended.

I wanted to get the micarta handle, but the seller said it was out of stock and if the rose wood version might be okay. That's why the pictures show the rose wood handle knife, and I like it, too. This knife has the quality of over $200-$300 knife - sharp, attention to details, and the sheath is good, too. I'll make a nice kydex sheath for this. Thank you, seller!!
