    Sony DVD Camera

    I film soloist at church and give them a DVD after church. You should download and print out the manual as this camera has more features than the older models. The 60X zoom gives clear video from the balcony. Sony's new HD cameras are not compatible with the legacy technology, therefore I stick to the 7 year old technology.

    Sony DCR-DVD650 camcorder

    I own several camcorders of this particular model. It rates as probably the 2nd best of all their camcorders. The video and picture quality are outstanding. The zoom feature is one of the best on the market ! It is fairly lightweight to use .Probably the only drawback to this model is that it does not have the night shot capability . But for doing field research it is an outstanding piece of equipment !
