Not only were the pages engaging, but children could also color them. A double win I went through this book with my kindergartner and he very much enjoyed coloring the objects and the numbers. The beginning exercises were great for his age (6), but the later pages were too complicated for him. It is worth noting that, the numbers in the book do go past 20 (e.g., 28 - 8) which is a bit too challenging for the kindergarten set, but maybe appropriate for older children.
