Does what it's supposed to do.
Replaced Rectifier and Stator on 1983 Nighthawk 550. Took a chance on a used Stator, but knew Rectifier was toast already. I've had it installed for a couple of weeks and battery seems to charge . Haven't run it enough to know if it allows overcharging. So far so good. It seems to do what it was supposed to do. Bolt holes line up but you'll need 1/2" longer #10 bolts.
