    Good consistency but...

    I have severe dry eye and like the thicker consistency of this product, but it needs to be in an aluminum tube as it's so hard to squeeze it out of the plastic one and you have little control over how much comes out. It's also pricey, even in the economy size, if you use a tube a week like I do. I only went back to it because the same product (different brand) has been recalled and I could buy that one in bulk for a few bucks a tube. So, hopefully my regular product will be back soon or they'll lower the price on this one and fix the packaging.

    Ointment in the eyes is hard to do ( for me )

    This is recommended by my ophthalmologist . I use Retain drops during the day with the ointment suggested for extra protection at night . The product is fine but I do have problems getting ointment in my eyes at night . I'm sure I will eventually learn the tricks . There have been no negative effects . I'm having trouble with the application . My purchase was handled quickly and efficiently .

    Works at night, very comfortable, easy to dispense

    I buy this for my min. Poodle who has dry eyes. I also had some dry eye problems after cataract surgery and the ophthalmologist suggested it. I can’t read a book after using, but Maddie doesn’t read at bedtime.. So vision is a bit smeary, which you’d expect from a petrolatum jelly. For humans and dogs. Far cheaper than veterinarian rx. What’s good enough for me…..

    This dry eye ointment is very good. Unfortunately, it is VERY hard to find at a decent price. Tnx to eBay I can usually get it for alot less than retail

    Simply the BEST

    I have been using night time eye moisture ointment, for my dry eye condition, for the past 2 years. OcuSoft Retaine is by far my favorite product. It comes in a larger (small tube) than others. It is easy to squeeze's out and last for a couple of weeks. In the morning, it is still working. It is easy to wash out of my eyes in the morning. This is now the only overnight eye product I use. I have bought it exclusively on ebay.
