    Uniquely perfect

    Mcfarlane has interning takes on all their alien sculpts. They seem to draw more from artist renderings and concept art as a whole rather than go straight off the big screen and make a 100% movie accurate sculpt. To me this makes mcfarlane worth having based off that alone. Unique but unmistakable alien models. Articulation is the only downside as some of the joints are mid leg or arm and moving them causes an awkward gap in the design. Still. They hold up and detail is as good as any of today's sculpts.

    despite the reign of NECA, McFarlane still holds up

    wonderfully detailed, decently (not greatly) articulated, interesting colour choices, and and as usual McFarlane has not done an exact replica of the creature but rather their interpretation of it - and i like that. With nothing for Alien Resurection coming out of NECA - this is for true fans of that film (or the franchise in general)...skip the hasbro version and get this one.
