Good idea, but not so good results
First of all, it takes too long to bake a waffle. In order to get an acceptable waffle (crispy outside), the waffles have to be placed in an oven after coming out of the waffle iron. We tried the full "5" setting, but it didn't help. The unit might need to run at a higher wattage to produce a better waffler.
