    Great unit/ Easy install

    Shipped quickly and was an easy set-up. This replaced the unit I was renting from Comcast for $11/ month. Be aware that this unit does not have a jack to directly plug-in a landline phone as did the Comcast modem that it replaced. This is not an issue for me since I was replacing my Comcast landline with a VOIP system (Ooma Telo) that is simply connected to the new modem through one of the four Ethernet ports on the back. I bought this particular unit as it is the same one my daughter and son-in-law have at their house and it has been a flawless performer for them for over a year.

    Works fine, no harder to set up than any other.

    New modems and routers are never "easy" to set up. I always dread it and this one is no different. Even the "quick start" manual is long and complicated. I am not a techie and hate that I have to to through this every few years. However, this Motorola is no worse than others. The manual is clear and detailed and easy to read. The modem+router does what it is supposed to. I am as happy as I ever have been.
