    Hub is ok, check the sensor

    I've used Moog hubs in the past and they seem fine, no issues with fit or operation. This one went in without a hitch, but on my first highway drive, my cruise control didn't work and my brake light was on. As the hub replacement was the last thing done on the truck, I suspected the wheel speed sensor connection. The wire was routed identically to the factory one, so no pinching or abrading. I triple checked the connection to the wiring harness, but no go. Finally I removed the speed sensor from the old hub and installed it on the new. Of course this entailed jacking up the truck, removing the wheel, caliper, and bracket, then reassembling and torquing everything. That fixed the cruise control, but the brake light is still on.
