    I Got Lucky

    I purchased this not realizing that i was only getting 1 of the 3 inserts. Luckily it was the right one for my grips. This device goes on pretty easily, i did have to get a longer bolt and a sleeve to extend the arm as my victory control is wider than this arm fits out of the box. I have had other throttle locks in the past that i could not activate with my right hand. I am please that this one is easy to activate using my right thumb and I don't have to reach over with my left hand to work the lock.

    Looks better than it works

    I purchased this throttle lock based upon the reputation of the Kuryakyn brand, but became disappointed during the installation (Triumph Rocket III). None of the 3 included rubber collars fit my grips. 1 was way too large, 1 was too small, and 1 was WAY too small. I had to improvise by splitting the collar with the groove and placing the inner part under the too large collar. Also, the plastic cross arm was too flimsy and flexed under the stress of my throttle return spring causing a noticeable RPM drop when activating the unit. Kuryakyn - you can do better than this!

    Know what you're buying

    This throttle assist is awesome. It has a ton of adjustment and I assume it works for just about every handlebar out there but you need to know what you're buying.. The clamp obviously goes on the grip so if you have big hands or a short handle grip then you'll have trouble fitting your whole hand on there with this thing installed. It works great though and i highly recommend it as long as you have at least 3/4 of an inch of extra room on your handle grip.

    JUST WHAT I WANTED

    Holds the throttle in place when needed and I can easily change speeds while unit is still engaged. The thumb lever makes it easy to engage and to disengage. I bought this so that I could free up my right hand when it needed a rest.
