The chassis is very plastic but for the price it's a great deal. I can plug the monitor to my laptop with the usb c that came with the monitor, and indeed delivers image to the monitor and power to the laptop and monitor which is handy for travelling, I don't need to carry so many cables. The stand is very strong, I tried outdoors in a windy day and the screen never moved.

Only comment is the fold out stand for the monitor is not the most stable. Monitor has to be on a firm and level surface to work and any bump or cable jostle will cause it to tip over.
