Seller canceled order after I won auction, claiming they had already sold the item someplace else. Assuming that's true, it's nonetheless a terrible business practice to start an auction, as opposed to listing an item as Buy It Now, for something you're trying to sell simultaneously on another website. This was a jacket worth upwards of $200 that went for a fraction of that price in this auction, so I'm not convinced the seller didn't just cancel because they were disappointed in the sale price.

This is the worst of eBay violations. This item was listed as a no reserve auction that I won on 6/3. My max bid was $60 but I won for $20.50 as nobody bid it up. I went to pay and the sale was canceled as it was out of stock. Ok maybe he sold it locally. But low and behold the same item , same photos ,same seller appears of his listings on 6/6 for a buy it now of $400. Is that dirty or just stupid? But worst of all is the $49 shipping charge as this would fit in a USPS small flat rate box $9
