Granted, the printer arrived damaged, but... not the sellers fault. It was actually most superbly packaged, and better than 99% of eBay shipments I ve received. Even though I never got to power this printer up, I know it was indeed in good shape before shipping.     Great printer

    Great printer, but there is definitely a learning curve on the set-up. However, once you've figured it out things are great!

    A Beast!

    This is comparable to the original Laserjet 3, 4, and 5 series printers. The toner cartridge is huge, and lasts a very long time. The cost per page is ridiculously low considering I squeeze out hundreds more pages than the toner is estimated to do in all my HP laser printers and that it is low to begin with. Also, the speed at which this prints, the load up times, and the paper capacity are amazing. I had several up for sale but I just had to keep one for myself :).

    Another winner from HP

    I bought this printer to replace my 25 yr old Laserjet III that finally quit and is no longer supported. My laser repairman recommended this model and I am glad he did. It is relatively small and prints quick in the usual excellent HP print quality.

    Price drops make a great opportunity

    I have two of these printers and they are workhorses. They are super easy on Toner and they seem to be indestructible. And to beat it all, they have been around for a few years so the prices are dropping. I recently found one NIB on ebay for less than half of what I paid for the first one I bought at a local Staples. They are a great deal if you find one in the 400 - 500 dollar range. Our actual usage avearages 500 pages of text per month.
