This is the cheapest and simplest of all OM system cameras. But don't get me wrong - it takes great pictures thanks to Zuiko lenses and let's face it - most of the time "Aperture Priority" mode is all that an amateur needs. It is much more affordable than any single-digit OM camera, of course built quality isn't that great, but hey, it's still metal! P.S. There are lots of resources on the Internet which claim this camera to be unreliable due to magnet problem. But what actually happens is that the magnet needs a bit of cleaning. There's a Youtube tutorial for that and it's piece of cake. The one I have purchased had the aforementioned problem, which was successfully eliminated. So all in all, still a great value.

My disappointment is immeasurable. I was super excited to get my hands on this camera and shoot some film with it. I opened the box and to find the camera loosely wrapped in two plastic grocery bags. Despite the lack of proper packaging the camera looked and worked fine (for now). I was only able to shoot one roll of film until the camera's shutter release cocked up despite having fresh batteries. Could be a jam or electrical -- not sure. It's possible the lack of packaging contributed to this.

I always wanted to buy this camera for so long. OM10 is easy to use. Eventhough this camera has many setting on it, but once you read through the manual book, u will get to know how to use and u will love it. Great camera~! I will not compare to other slr camera as this is my first slr camera. I just use toy camera before this before I love the original colour that u can see in the picture taken from film camera :)
This camera does not have all the mechanic controls that are frequently supplied but it does a very good job considering its weight and price, the only thing that drawbacks it's the exposure correction dial that is conjugated with Iso values, not a big deal but it takes time to make a right count which way to rotate. And of course, you always can buy additional manual adapter for a full shutter control, but it comes out a bit pricey when purchased alone. Good camera in all aspects that Olympus can supply.

One of the best Japanese vintage camera. It has a very simple way to operate it.The functions, the modes like automatic or manual with the adapter, are simplified. It is a light weight item, easy to handle and the results are superb. Great colors and details, thanks to the lens and focus system. Somne people compare this camera to the German Leica, perhaps but the price on this is much less.
