Great Looking Lionel Modern ALCO UP Diesels
It took me quite a while to decide as to whether I should buy engines made in the 1950's-60's (postwar) or buy these that were made in 1993 (modern). All of my other Lionel is postwar except for these. Trainz rated them as "Like New" and they were right. I'm very satisfied with the way they look and run.They "blend in" perfectly with my postwar stock. All they needed was a little lubrication and they were off and running! The previous owner had set them up to run only forward. It took only a few minutes to change the setting for 3-cycle forward, neutral, reverse. Powerful Pullmor motor and the Magnatraction really holds on the curves. The horn is awesome.
