My older Rott has had some issues with arthritis so my Vet recommended a chondroitin supplement. I tried these and followed the directions to first start with the larger dosage then titrate down. My pet readily now eats these and expects them as treats. She has demonstrated decreased pain from her arthritis and will even set out on a sprint across the yard from time to time. I can highly recommend these to not only people with older dogs who want to maintain their dogs joint health, but also to those who just want to keep their dog healthy in general.

Great product, but it's huge, and my dog won't even touch it. I normally wrap in cheese or meat, but can't, and if I crush it, she won;t even touch the meat !!! I'll have to find a way to give it to her, cause she needs it...

After doing days of research I've come to the conclusion that these Level 3 Joint t Supplements from NaturVet contain the best joint and muscle supplemental ingredients, as well at the highest level per tablet, and at the fewest daily required amount, and lastly the best price. What that means simply is that NaturVet's Joint Health Advanced Care 90 Chew Tabs, Level 3, have the best ingredients, the highest amount per serving (tabket) the fewest required to consume daily to achieve the listed value and the cost per daily required dose is the cheapest. Beware some will try to sell you a large container of chewable (which are almost always the most expensive means of nutritional supplementation due to their convenience) But those chews in that big bag may only have small amount to of the nutrients or supplements in them, thus requiring you to have to feed many more to reach the daily allowance. The same with liquids. I know these tablets are quite large and my Rottweilers wouldn't even eat them, actually I don't know what dog will. I used to dip a similar sized tablet of another product in baby powder so he would swallow them. But with these, along with his NaturVet Adult Vitamins, I break them in a few pieces into his dog bowl when preparing his meal, I then usE an old, plastic, capped pill bottle, the type with hard lettering on tip, and then push down on the tablets will turning. (Like in the old old days when a pharmacist used a mortar in a pesal to pulverize medicines when compoundIng them) So now you have this fine power that you add you dog food to and mix well. If you feed only dry food, add a little hot water to make a nice warm gravy and your dog will love his or her food even more!! I had to take the time to share this because I know there are millions of loving pet owners out there like me who must come across situations like this and any little trick can help. OUR PETS DON'T ALWAYS KNOW THAT WE HAVE THE BEST INTENTIONS.Read full review

I've been using these for our 12 year old German Shepherd for about 4 years now, ever since we saw devastating arthritis in her hips and spine x-rays. These joint supplements are keeping her active and that's important.
