Have bought 3 or 4 of these 1TB white label hard drives in the past year..They our OEM drives as several have been Hitachi drives per crystal disk information tool..They have been on par with any major brand hard drives I have had in speed and reliability..They run nice and cool under load in my PC also..On another note I have bought at least 14 white label drives of various sizes from 500gig to 2TB over the past 3 years and had just one be DOA and the weather may have contributed to that as our State was having subzero temps and I was gone for a few days so the hard drive sat in my mailbox for 2 days under -15 temps..
