This is a really nice printer. In fact, before I bought this one, I already had one just like it. What I was looking for was another printer that took HP 61 cartridges since we are at three separate locations, and it is just easier to move the cartridges along with me as opposed to letting them dry out while we are away. I would have rated it as 5 star, but I never has had satisfactory success setting up the printer as wireless, but using it with a USP port, the quality is excellent. I would recommend this printer.

When we opened the printer the right hand paper guide was broken off & laying in the bag. I'm 77 yrs. old, so my son was setting it up for me. He glued it on and said if it didn't hold I'd have to feed one sheet of paper at a time. My grand daughter said she would use it, so I gave it to her.

When my deskjet 2540 finally died after nearly a decade of relentless service, I was disappointed (understatement!) to find that ithat model had been discontinued an d was no longer available. I checked out a number of possible replacements, but evevything fell short of the mark. As a last resort, I searched on Ebay, and found one new in box. This printer is easy to set up, sync, and use, As far as print quality, I have found esults are every bit a good as larger and costlier machines. If you can find one, as I did, "new in box" don't hesitate to snatch it up.

I was a bit sceptical at first because the price was so low, but I'm very pleased with this printer. I had to switch to a wireless printer because I use my tablet and phone for everything. It took a couple of times to connect to the wifi , but when it did on the third try, it works great. I'm just using the printer for household use of printing documents etc. If your looking to get professional hd quality then probably not for you.

Just got it and the prints are great. The big test is if it will print #6 3/4 envelopes as a friend who has one (and likes it) has told me. None of the manufacturers who make printers now bother to have them able to print small envelopes from end to end. The HP8710 says it does, but it cuts off 1 inch on one or both ends of the envelope printing.

Replacement for the exact same printer that I got many good years out of before the paper feed broke on one side. I maintain a stock of 61XL ink cartridges and needed a printer that would accept them. This is a great printer and even though it cost almost 3 times what they went for when manufactured, I am very pleased that I was able to find one NIB.

I had it running with in minutes. Got the wireless feature working on a laptop and tablet very easily. I had a little trouble getting the wireless working on my older desktop but soon got the problem straightened out. I am a 74 year old woman not a computer expert.

I was surprised to see this come from Staples cause I always think of Staples as expensive but I was wrong. I went online to ask how to set it up. Once I figured out that I needed to set it up first without the wireless--direct from the port--then the rest was easy and it worked on wireless without a hitch.
