Synopsis
This book is designed as an introductory course in Tropical Meteorology for the graduate or advanced level undergraduate student. The material within can be covered in a one-semester course program. The text starts from the global scale-view of the Tropics, addressing the zonally symmetric and asymmetric features of the tropical circulation. It then goes on to progressively smaller spatial and time scales - from the El Niño Southern Oscillation and the Asian Monsoon, down to tropical waves, hurricanes, sea breezes, and tropical squall lines. The emphasis in most chapters is on the observational aspects of the phenomenon in question, the theories regarding its nature and maintenance, and the approaches to its numerical modeling. The concept of scale interactions is also presented as a way of gaining insight into the generation and redistribution of energy for the maintenance of oscillations of a variety of spatial and temporal scales., This book is designed as an introductory course in Tropical Meteorology for the graduate or advanced level undergraduate student. Item received as described. Awesome price. Great communication. The only negative aspect is packaging. Thankfully my record was fine, but it was shipped in a very thin cardboard record envelope. My purchase is pretty rare and hard to come by. Had it been damaged, it would take a miracle to find again. I've been searching since 2015, if that tells you how hard it's been. Will definitely be a return customer. My hope is they upgrade their shipping packaging.

Perfect as described. Good communication and fast shipping. Packed very well and the price was very fair. One was a gift for a friend so I was very pleased to be able to purchase two. A++++ Seller, thanks

I've bought from them a few times, and every time the records arrive just as described and well packed for shipping. Their prices for the EU releases I want have been far better than any other sellers. So I will continue to buy vinyl from them, knowing that they maintain a high level of customer support & communication.
