"Big Bang Theory: The Complete First Season" is a five-disc set covering all the episodes of first season on Blu-ray discs with high-definition quality. This comedy revolves around the story of two highly intelligent but socially awkward individuals, named Leonard, played by Johnny Galecki, and Sheldon, played by Jim Parsons, as they get their lives shaken up by a pretty, new neighbor. The two physicists may know how to apply the quantum theory but they are totally clueless when it comes to women. When a beautiful blonde, Penny, played by Kaley Couco, moves next door, these geeks get their lives upside down in this comedy. The real drive of the "Big Bang Theory: The Complete First Season" comes from Sheldon's fantastic combination of obsessive compulsive neurosis and social obliviousness as he remains impermeably indifferent to anything resembling feelings or relationships in others. Meanwhile, Leonard gets a crash course in the ways of opposite sex during his mission to impress the attractive new neighbor. This five-disc set comes in a widescreen version and is subtitled with the NTSC format with a total run time of 374 minutes and an aspect ratio of 1.77:1. The "Big Bang Theory: The Complete First Season" also features hilarious appearances by Sara Gilbert as the female version of Sheldon named Leslie and Laurie Metcalf as Sheldon's fundamentalist mother.
