Exactly what I've been searching for!!
First, let me tell you that I am a very picky, 61 year old woman. Next I want to say that a few years ago, I searched and searched for a phone or phones that I would be happy with. I purchased many, only to return them. I have tinnitus, (a ringing or buzzing sound in my ears 24/7) and I also had lasik surgery for my eyes about 10 years ago. That caused my close-up vision to distort, and it's not always easy having readers at your fingertips day and night. I can hear out of these phones perfectly, (easy volume adjustment) and the numbers are large enough to see. Actually, if someone calls, any button will answer, except the off button of course, and the caller ID is great if I happen to have my glasses available. (very easy to operate as well) One nice thing about this purchase, is that the users manual is included, so after reading up on how to connect a total of SIX phones, well, it only took 5 minutes, it was that easy! (Phones have to be registered to connect six to one base, and yes we do have a big house) I was overjoyed to find that the seller was selling THREE of these phones for $29.95, and free shipping to boot! I read some of the bad reviews, and wondered what was wrong with these people. These phones were made for INSIDE the home, and people are complaining because the range was not far enough? Get a cell phone people!! This is the best phone out there, and the easiest to use. It's going to be as sad day for me when I will no longer be able to find these. I feel like a kid who just got a special Christmas present. I am thrilled. Thank you so much for offering them.

Great phones
These come with many great features and they can also be used with other regular phones if needed. For ex. if you have a phone from before you would like to use in another room, you can use this phone and its bases,. Great reception too. The only thing I don not like is that it is hard to read the caller ID etc. with the yellow background. I prefer the lighted clear or white background. Also, These phones do NOT come with 'Talking Caller ID' so if that is what you are looking for, find a different model, preferably one with a whit or clear background so you can see the numbers without straining your eyes.These come with many great features and they can also be used with other regular phones if needed. A good quality cordless with answering machine
This is actually my second time buying the Panasonic KX-TG1033S 1.9 GHz Trio 1-Line Cordless Phone. I bought one set for my house to replace a cheaper cordless phone with poor audio quality, then bought this set for my parents. The quality and reception of the Panasonic is excellent, no static as you roam around the house, and the voices sound loud and clear. The speakerphone option on each handset is excellent for hands-free convience when busy washing dishes, etc. The look of the phone is sleek and modern. The design of the handset is very comfortable when put against the ear. The set includes a small base/answering machine with a phone, and two very small base/chargers for the other handsets which don't require a phone jack and can be placed anywhere there is an electrical outlet. The system is expandable to 6 total handsets if want to buy extra satellites for around the house. The answering machine is easy to use. Each phone can be customized with different settings for loudness of ringer, ringer style, speaker volume, and other features. If you put a name and number in the "phonebook" of one handset, you could either leave it there or use the "copy" function and with one push of a button send that name/number to all the other phones remotely to use when needed (neat!). Overall this is a quality product with crisp/clear sound and some neat bells and whistles. The menu system requires some time to exploit all the bells and whistles, but out of the box anyone should be able to use the basic functions of this system, and the three (rather than typical two) handsets is really nice to spread around the house for convience. I put one the third handset out in my sunroom where there is no phone jack and it really comes in handy when you're out in the yard. I bought my first set for around $90 and recently I saw it was up to $100 or so in one of those big-box stores. I got this one for quite a bit less on ebay for a "like-new" display model, and it was worth every penny, my parents love it.

Panasonic KX-TG1033S 1.9 GHz. An Awesome Trio
After buying a cordless phone sets (VTech) at Wal-Mart and being totally irritated with them, I went on eBay and got the Panasonic KX-TG1033S trio. Finally!!! a phone that does what a phone should do! The problems I had with the other set were that they had loads of static, and sometimes I would get bleed-over from my neighbors phone. The old phones were 5.8Mhz, and the new technology seemed to help. The Panasonic phones are crystal clear. In fact, sometimes I think I've lost the connection. NO STATIC AT ALL!! Almost just like talking in person. Also, the volume is fine. I don't have to strain to hear, and I do have a slight hearing loss. No problem with the Panasonic phones. There's a built in answering machine which actually works. The pre-recorded message is pleasant to listen to ... I guess the only complaint I would mention is there isn't a message counter on the machine, and only 1 mailbox, but that is just me being picky. There are many features on these phones but I mainly use the shared phonebook. No more adding numbers manually on each handset. The speaker phone is also a great feature and acually works!! Another huge plus is that the Panasonic phones use Energizer rechargeable AAA batteries. No stupid model specific battery pack here. I like that Panasonic went with normal rechargeable batteries that you can get anywhere.

inxpensive good phone
Very good sound, bigger key numbers (I don't care about lights on keys) easy to program, uses almost comun recharchable batteries, last like 7 hrs. intercom call is 1 bottom instaed of the new one that I bought.. you have togo to the main menu. Not too small and also is light. Very good phone!
