    A very durable and functional set of earmuffs for loud noise areas.

    A very good quality ear muff protection that fits comfortably and does the job of reducing the sounds. I use them for shooting and now so does my spouse and other family members as we have 3 pairs. They adjust well such that one can wear a hat and glasses with little to no interference. We have worn them at other loud events too (fireworks, monster truck show, and NFL football games).

    Not the best and not the worst

    I've had a lot of "muff" hearing protectors over the years and this one is above average with one exception. I don't think I have an exceptionally large head, but with full ectension, the cups barely fit down over my ears. And if I wear them for an hour or so, it puts presure on the top of my head and is uncomfortable. I have had this problem before, but not with most of the ones I have used. Otherwise, there is a good seal and it really blocks out noise (mower, chain saw, and others).

    Great Sound Protection

    I think Howard Leight makes the best earmuffs for shooting. These have a high sound reduction rating which is nice. I gave it 4 starts because they do squeeze my head a bit and don't fit quite as well as the L0 version of this earmuff. Overall though a great product and value!

    ok.....i think

    I have not used them on the range. I tried them on and they defintely muffle sound. I am disappointed with them in that they fit over my head pretty tightly. As with most such units they were advertised as basically, one size fits all, heads. I wear size 81/4 hats and hoped these would work comfortably. They are wearable, but snug over the top of my head. I did not see any size options when I ordered but these seemed to have the endorsement of other "big heads." I am anxious to see how they feel with an hour's wear and how they muffle sound. I hope to try them out next week. In the meantime, I like them......I think.

    look similar to

    These were purchased to replace the Howard Leights I've had for over 10 years. These are nice but the band is uncomfortable, the metal bars the connect to band are positioned so they dig into scalp. The foam inside of ear cup sits flush with the plastic so basically ear is in contact with foam instead of being recessed into cup like previous version.
