    Better than the new ones.

    These are so much better than the new ones Lionel is importing from Vietnam. The springs work, and the couples will couple with all Lionel equipment. They add an extra $30 to the cost of the newer Lionel cars, but if you want your new stuff to work with your existing stuff, they might just be worth it. They also are better looking.

    Rotating bearing cap trucks

    Bought these to replace a truck that broke apart under normal running conditions. Looks like the casting was porous and broke apart while on flat and level track...hope this is a onetime problem, not a trend. The bearing caps also tend to fall off. The rotating bearing trucks are a great idea, hope they don't cause a lt of problems like this .

    Lionel roller bearing trucks

    These trucks are remarkable. You can see the roller-bearing axels turn. They are detailed, run smooth and have a low profile. They can be adapted to fit older Lionel 50' modern boxcars without difficulty giving a better prototypical look than the typical Standard "O" diecast trucks.

    Better tracking and appearance.

    These all-diecast trucks are a major upgrade for most 3-rail O Gauge freight cars. Especially those produced in the 1980's - 90's having plastic trucks (though almost all did have metal wheels and axles). The trucks add weight for better tracking, have springs to lessen the rough spots in a track, and look great.as well.

    Perfect replacement.

    These are great replacements if you are upgrading your rolling stock. They come with pick up rollers for power if you need to supply power to a car with light.
