  • Need to HAVE

This is a great book to have if you are a JRR Tolkien fan. It tells you all the information you need to understand Middle Earth. It lists all of the characters (light and dark ones), forests, caves, towns, battles and everything in between. All persons, places or things are listed alphabetical order, what book they are in, what year it was printed and much more.

  • Tolkien's world from a-z. Complete guide to Middle Ear

Middle Earth can be very confusing. With this book, just about any name or location can be referenced quickly. For those of us that feel Middle earth could have really existed, this book makes the complicated simpler and everything that much more believable. AAA+++

  • Nice encyclopedia

This is a nice addition to my "Tolkien-head" collection. It covers most but not all of the characters, species, events and weapons of not only The Hobbit and The LOTR but Middle Earth history prior to The Hobbit. A few minor errors and some details that would have been nice to know and see are missing but overall a good reference guide to Tolkien's middle earth world and history.

  • The Complete Guide to Middle-Earth by Robert Foster

The Book is worth the money and a invaluable resource fo any fan who is interested in this subject. The paper quality and information is very good.

  • The complete guide to middle earth

My son likes this book along with the lord of the ring books. He will really like this book. I like this book.
