Boom Blox is a game that plays on that simple enjoyment, designed to be family-friendly and easy for nearly anyone to pick up and play.<br><br>The game's main mode challenges players to toss onscreen objects at structures built with blocks, by performing a throwing motion with the Wii Remote. The object is to knock the structures down completely. Some blocks have special properties, such as being sticky or explosive, that can add to the challenge or be used to the player's advantage. There are options for single-player progression, multiplayer competitions, and also hundreds of puzzles and other mini-games that make use of the game's physics engine.

Simple game with plenty of surprises
Pretty engaging game, just the right level of difficulty. The different block styles combined with the different ball types make for a lot of interesting physics to explore. The controls are not always the most responsive, especially if a second shot needs to be made within a narrow time window -- the crosshairs sometimes get "stuck" on the first target and eat up time needed to reposition. But all in all, a good and engaging game that gives my arm a workout. :)

A phenomenal game that really makes good use of the Wii's physical control system. I haven't gotten too far in it, but the adventure storyline games are fun and the creative building mode opens all sorts of possibilities. Very family-friendly, too. Bottom line: own a Wii? Get this!
