Honestly, THIS is what Nascar SHOULD BE IN REAL LIFE!
I cannot recommend this hidden gem enough. If you're not into Nascar (like I am), then I can understand you probably wanting to ride this game as trash if you see the logo or heck, maybe even a screenshot of the game at first glance. But if you were take a second look at this game (and when I say that I mean watching actual gameplay of this classic), then you would know that this isn't your normal average everyday Nascar game. This isn't a racing game where your main objective is to drive a car in circles for freaking months on end and hope that your brain doesn't fall out of your head from shear boredom. Actually, I don't even know how to describe this game because this game's intro acknowledges that its not a normal Nascar game, but something different and honestly BETTER. Seriously, I ... I love this game. If you like racing and fun at the same time this is the game. I haven't played this game in 8 years. And didn't miss a beat. It has alot of tracks and options to play. It is not like any other racing game. You race through mountains, city streets, ship yards. And then you can race against nascar legends, beat them then you can race as them. As you do challenges you unlock other cars like dumptrucks, golf car, bus. And then you can race the same races with these vehicles also. Really fun game. Great for the whole family.I love this game. Great game for a PS1, a must have for every racing game fan.
Superb game. I have bought this game a few times, since I've lost the other copies, and also because my friends want it after playing it. Even though it's PS1, it's an amazing game. From Legends of Racing like Kulwicki, Pearsons, and now, even Earnhardt, this game takes the cake. You can even race using quite unique vehicles, such as a chicken truck and a motorhome. The more races you win, the more cars you get. Better yet, you can upgrade the cars you already have to make them go faster and control better.
