    DeoxIT....Don't Leave Home Without It ...LOL

    DeoxIT is the BEST CONTACT CLEANER & LUBE on the market. I've used this stuff for at least 30 + years and it's never let me down. The best use I've found for it is to fix scratchy electronic switches and pots. If you own an electric guitar, YOU NEED THIS !! If your pick-up selector switch has a little static when you move it back and forth, a little shot of DeoxIT and it will stop for several years, also the 1/4" jack where you plug in. It cleans the contacts and leaves a very slight oil film behind. Another great use is any volume pot (knob) or any adjustment pots (treble, bass, etc..) Just a little squirt will fix it right up. {sometimes you may have to disassemble parts to access the back of a knob} Just buy you some and FIX everything electronic around the house and auto !!!!!!!!

    Put back the old valve / spray tube; otherwise OK

    The product itself works as well as ever but the new valve / sprey tube is a definite downgrade. As users know it is often difficult to reach the points where the spray is needed; the new thick, stiff tube won't bend around corners, fit into switch / pot openings, etc. as easily as the old one. Also the massive, stiff trigger is more difficult to control; it's off or blast when you may only need to precisely apply a drop or two. This could be done with a rocking pressure to the old valve. PLEASE PUT BACK THE OLD VALVE / TUBE - even longer & more flexible. (im going to cut down the new tube, drill the end & fuse the old tube into it,)

    Best Contact Cleaner Ever In My 44 years of Using Them

    I have been using this product for eight years to restore function to old switches, tube sockets, and potentiometers. It does it far more effectively than any other and the effect is so long lasting that in eight years I can't recall ever having to redo something in that time. It is also very good for cleaning electrical contacts in automobiles. I have actually had success with it cleaning variacs too. Now in my 44th year as an electronics tech, this is the best ever contact cleaner and sometimes it even gets used to clean some metal surfaces like chassis, faceplates, and the like with pleasing results. Great stuff! I introduced this stuff to two other techs and they have been using it with good results for almost as long as I have.

    Works Amazingly Well... If you can SPRAY IT.

    This Deoxit stuff is a life saver! Works phenomenally well to restore electronic gear to noiseless functionality. I've been able to restore gear from a totally dead output to fully functioning and without noise JUST with this D5. HOWEVER, I have BIG ISSUES with the spaying the product, flip up straw or otherwise. The spray function SUCKS! This juice isn't cheap so losing any portion to a non spraying condition is infuriating. I'm currently searching for a different brand even though the DeoxIT works so good.

    Simple to use; very effective. It’s transformative stuff.

    I recently bought a 50+ year old stereo receiver that produced NO sound whatsoever. I’m not an electronics guy but thought I’d try cleaning the controls with Deoxit. It took an hour to remove the sheet metal top and bottom covers from the unit, spray the rocker switches and pots. Plugged in the power and presto! It works beautifully. I replaced the covers and the machine is back on the road. Deoxit was simple to use and very effective. I’m reading this text and thinking, “This sounds like a commercial,” but this was, to me, an impressive demonstration.
