Excellent Camera - why is it selling so low on Ebay?
I bought this camera in the fall of 2007 as a new retail item from a big-box store for $150+, and this is the best consumer digital we've ever owned. It takes fabulous hi-res pics, has tons of modes for low-light, action, close-ups, etc.. that do exactly what they're supposed to do. It has a large, clear LCD screen that intuitively lets you review, edit, and delete bad pics away in seconds. It is compact enough to fit in a shirt pocket comfortably and travels well. It is physically well made. None of the buttons or controls feel junky. We have uploaded photos straight from the camera with the included USB cable, and it cooks. About 400 hi-res zoo pics took just a couple of minutes to upload, so the camera doesn't bottleneck you when uploading this way. On the negative side, the camera ... I think we had 28 full-res pics on it before it started griping about adding a memory stick. It is compact, so for guys with big hands, this camera will feel dwarfish to you and you'll have to be careful holding it, as it has some slick chrome embellishments along the top that can make it slippery. It doesn't offer a real secure way to hold it, but this is probably an issue for all compact digitals. As far as taking pictures of awesome quality and ease of use, this camera is 5 stars all the way. My wife doesn't have any issues with holding this camera, just me and my man hands. I am utterly disturbed at how low this camera sells for used on Ebay. So disturbed that I am going to search for another one at 1/4 the cost we paid retail! 7.0 megapixels is WAY more than enough for super high-quality pics and will be for quite a while. Save yourself some money and buy a good used C763 that should last you for a while.

Great Deal
The camera is good deal for the price. The display screen is clear and easy to use even for a novice like me. The software is also user friendly. The only small thing is that buying a memory card is essential. The camera will hold VERY LITTLE on its own. As I stated I am a novice so maybe the card purchase should have been a given. I am very pleased with the camera's quality and usability.

If you plan to take a lot of pictures inside, choose a different camera. It also seems to take its time focusing, if it can even decide where to focus, and when there's any sort of action the pictures come out blurry. So I have a lot of very blurry pictures of toddlers. The macro setting is also very poor, even at the closest you can get to an object it will not pick up on details and it will hardly look any different than pictures taken with any other settings The camera re-acts not as fast as others, but still its good overall simple camera or a basic second camera.If you plan to take a lot of pictures inside, choose a different camera. Awesome Kodak EASYSHARE C763 7.1 Megapixel camera
This camera does it all. It takes pictures in the daylight, night time, in motion, portrait style, up close, it does video, it does many other styles. I have never been more satisfied with a camera than I am with this one. I dropped my camera like this one in the ocean and cried my eyes out. I had to have the exact camera to be completely satisfied. There have been a lot of cameras that have come out, but to me do not live up to the expectations of this camera. The adjustment in lighting, distance, ability to add things to the background or around the picture. This camera has endless possibilities. I just love it. I would recommend this camera probably 10 years from now to anyone. It is the best camera in the world and I've already bought two and I'd do it again!!!This camera does it all.
