Live underground!
This creative LEGO toy meets my toy criteria - it has the opportunity to morph itself into creative play! It engages the kids as originally planned but with a little prodding goes beyond. Great Set with awesome pieces
As usual, the creativity abounds in this set. I love the details both inside and out - picket fence, circular door, "glazed" window, Bilbo's book and quills. The quantity and diversity of characters is spectacular and can easily start your set or enhance other Hobbit / LOTR sets. Four stages of assembly gave my son and I hours of enjoyment over multiple days.

More than I expected it to be
I was thinking it was going to be small, but it is a pretty good size which makes it more enjoyable. I love all of the little touches that they added, carrot patch, 3 maps, all of the pieces for a supper and the red book in the corner to name a few.
