Product Information

Flipper Critters is a pinball game starring a number of colorful, cartoon-like animals in a variety of themed environments. While the game offers traditional pinball elements such as flippers, ramps, bumpers, and sinkholes, each 3D "table" is designed like a world, with trees, castles, mountains, and varied terrain spanning both screens. There are missions to undertake on behalf of certain characters and a variety of arcade-style mini-games to explore in between locales. One of the more original features is the ability to interact with the environment to help influence where the ball travels. Instead of tilting or nudging the machine, for example, players instead use the stylus to adjust ramps or to activate switches. Wi-Fi support is also included for head-to-head action against a friend.

    cute game for kids from 6 to 12, needs some tweeking...

    The first time you try is a litle hard for youger kids to get the twist of it. Just managing to finish the first adventure to get somewhere is hard but when you fanaly get the game runing with some patience that's for the older ones...Youger ones do not have the patience to manage even the first adventure ! I believe it would need a first question before you begin the game: what age is the player, then the game would adjust accordingly. Interesting game but it needs a little tweeking to get it going on an intersting run...

    Flipper Critters

    Good young kids game; not for anyone with a lot of gaming experience. (They'll get bored quick!) There is some reading. Overall it's an easy kids game.

    Flipper Cirtters (Nintendo DS)

    I bought this game new and for a christmas present for my 5 yr. old granddaughter. I'm sure she'll like this game.
