Looking to overclock or not....
This is a very versatile motherboard. It is designed to meet the needs to overclock your CPU to unlock cores on it that are not active. This would put a strain on most motherboards. This one handles it like a champ. The HDMI and the 7.1 decoding are nice but overshadow the baseline integrated graphics. My guess was MSI knew if you were buying a motherboard like this you would probably be adding an additional graphics card anyway.The USB bios backup feature is a nice touch too. I have not had to put it to use (thank god) but if I do it's nice to know it's there. All in all this is a good board to start a nice system around. I went with the AMD phenom x6 black edition 3.5ghz CPU along with 8gb of corsair ddr2 RAM and it's a screamer after I overclocked it.This is a very versatile motherboard. I bought this board because is excellent for working and get some entertainment. I was looking for a board with this capacityand I found here. I hope it life be very long.
