The Express
I love this movie, and it will fit into our family archives. Syracuse University is our Alma Mater, and we love her with a passion. To see this film, which has been adopted and mentioned in the Syracuse Alumni Group here in S. Florida, makes one 'scream' with excitement to see our Alma Mater and its Football team in action, claiming the Heissman Trophy and all that they went through, to include Race issues. It is a well done film, filmed right on Syracuse University's campus......! WOW!!!!! It runs true to form! ENJOY.... it will also be in our family vault forever!I love this movie, and it will fit into our family archives. Syracuse University is our Alma Mater, and we love her with a passion. Football Drama
I wanted this movie because Ernie Davis was a local young man from western Pennsylvania that was an exceptional athlete. I knew very little about him or his family so I found that to be informative. I knew that Ernie had won the Heisman Trophy but I didn't know he had died before he was able to play professional football. A real shame that a man with so many physical abilities should die from such a debilitating disease. He had overcome so much in his young life but never got the opportunity to use all that he had learned to take him to new heights in life. They always say the good die young and this was the case for Ernie Davis.I wanted this movie because Ernie Davis was a local young man from western Pennsylvania that was an exceptional athlete.
