Despite the fact that I had a problem with this item THIS IS A GOOD SELLER!
The item did in fact appear to be new in the original box - although I suspect that it was repackaged by someone at some point. The device was defective and the seller was very quick to refund my payment AND he even took my word that the item was defective and did not insist that I return it.
