Based on the computer-animated television series airing on the Cartoon Network, Republic Heroes has you engaged in a war between a battle droid army and the Jedi. Set between seasons one and two of the series, the game has you tracking down a bounty hunter named Cad Bane and the villainous Kul Teska across more than 30 missions. Playable characters include Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Commander Cody, Captain Rex, Mace Windu, Kit Fisto, and Ahsoka Tano. Fight as either a Jedi or a clone trooper across 3D environments overflowing with enemies to shoot, slice, and shatter. Lightsaber-equipped Jedi can use Force powers and perform acrobatic maneuvers, while clone troopers use jetpacks and wield high-powered weapons like rocket launchers and thermal detonators. Team up with a friend at any point with the game's drop-in cooperative system.

A middling game, but authentic voice actors make this game worth collecting!
Republic Heroes is not the best game. The controls are not the best and the graphics were outdated when it was released. What it does have is authentic voice actors from the Star Wars: Clone Wars cartoon. There is fun to be found in this game as the voice actors interact with each other, fighting droids is fun, and the plot feels like an episode from the show (even the introductions to each level have that lovable propaganda intro from the show). Although a somewhat mediocre game, I highly recommend this game to fans of the Clone Wars show, it'll be a perfect addition to your collection!Republic Heroes is not the best game. You battle across the universe to defeat the evil Seth and battle droids. Great game play, very easy to learn how to play. The game also helps you in all of the early missions now how to play the game. The graphic is great for the PlayStation 2. I bought the game because of the love of the cartoon series. While the gameplay is not great and the graphics are subpar (even for 2009), it's compelling for fans to be able to play with characters from the greatest television series of all time. Highly recommend for TRUE FANS of Star Wars the Clone Wars.
