    Paul Simon's Graceland, Beautiful. Haunting, fun, joyous. I love it.

    I first heard Paul Simon's "Graceland" back in 1987, and immediately was taken with the haunting, beautiful harmonies of the South African group who backed him, Ladysmith Black Mambazo. I had lost my copy, and so I bought it again. Paul brought to our country, and to his music, something completely fresh and organic. The rhythms throughout the CD are incredible, the music is some of his best, and I especially loved the previously unreleased bonus track of "Diamonds on the Soles of Her Shoes" with nothing but a funky bass, an light harmonies for the background. Excellent. I love this music.
