If you've ever wanted to strap on the web slinger's characteristic tights - like most people have - and feel what it's like to actually be Spider-Man, this PS3 game gets you about as close as you can get without being bitten by a radioactive spider. Featuring enormous, wide-open spaces throughout Manhattan, The Amazing Spider-Man on PlayStation 3 lets you choose your own destiny. Take on one of countless side missions that let you float through the skies and between buildings with ease. Or immerse yourself in the game's absorbing - albeit humorous - storyline. Throughout this PS3 game, you will incorporate a mix of stealth, fluid combos, nicely placed webbing, and time-slowing techniques to dispatch enemies. Humor plays a big part in this game, from banter with harmless pedestrians to one-liners shot at bosses. This humor works well to infuse the PS3 game with everything that makes Spider-Man so beloved. These PlayStation games were developed by Beenox and published by Activision with a release date of 2012. It has a rating of T for Teen. One attractive feature of this Amazing Spider-Man PS3 game is that you can unlock a bevy of spectacular suits throughout the campaign mode. Each suit offers a new visual design that makes flying around the city even more exciting. There are eight costumes in total in the video game. Most of these costumes are unlocked by taking a picture of spider symbols scattered throughout the city. As hero Peter Parker, your day job as a photographer allows you to take pictures with your trusty camera. Some of the main costumes you can unlock include the Future Foundation suit and the black suit from Spider-Man 3. Even after you've completed the main missions, it's possible to free roam around the entire open world of NYC. As you continue to travel around the city, feel free to play any number of the available side missions. Throughout this PlayStation 3 video game, there are a large number of optional side quests that you can complete whenever you want. These side quests are designed to emulate what Spider-Man would be doing when not facing his arch-nemesis or latest enemy. These missions include stealing info from OsCorp computers, helping save civilians from criminals, and saving infected civilians. Throughout the story, you will also have the opportunity to participate in car chases and take photos for the newspaper you work for. While The Lizard is the primary antagonist of The Amazing Spider-Man game, there are several additional villains you will face along the way. One of these is known as Vermin, who was created by the cross-species experiments handled at OsCorp by new director Alistair Smythe. Each villain has different attacks that you need to look out for in the game. When playing as Spidey, you can dodge attacks and use acrobatic moves to take down enemies. Throughout the story, you'll encounter many fan favorite characters, including creator Stan Lee and Gwen Stacy.

    The DS game works so far (1 hour into it), great condition (Not counterfeit), packaging was meh (lightly encased in bubble wrap), shipped the day I bought it (Only complaint is that it was shipped by USPS and it was delayed 3 days). Overall it was a great experience, but i do not trust USPS with anything, nor should you. A- seller! If you take away the whole USPS ordeal, i'd bump it up to A+.

    Great Movie Game

    Definitely one of the better movie games out there. The voice acting is a little wonky but the gameplay holds well. Packed with many hours of content to keep you busy, as any Spider-Man game should.
