    Reasonable replacement at some cost savings

    Easy to install, spring loaded knuckle for freight car or Athearn blue box locos needing an under shank coupler to meet Kadee or NMRA standards. While not as strong as Kadee metal couplers, it will work well on most smaller layouts and at a slightly lower cost. Not going to save you a lot, minor savings.
