Great DVD. Video good. Audio poor.
First, I have to say that I'm glad I was able to locate and purchase the DVD. I saw the movie many years ago and was intrigued by the story. The video is good. The audio is inaudible at different points in the movie, making it difficult to follow the dialogue and story line. It's really too bad as this is a very interesting and educational movie.

there is NO time limit on Justice~ good~
over 50 years ago a Hungarian Nazi committed war crimes but he was never found or arrested. now 50 years later an hungarian immigrant now living in the USA (Armin Mueller-Stahl) is accused of being the hated Hungarian Nazi. Stahl is excellent as man now a grandfather an loyal american suddenly facing deportation and trials for something that occured years ago~ but is HE an innocent victim or the accused cleverly hoping time has helped him escape? Great plot and story~ defending him is his daughter now a high profile successful american lawyer (Jessica Lange) who is very likeable and good as Ann Talbot a loyal loving daughter. That's one question that's often asked in this drama in which a lawyer (Jessica Lange)defends her father (Armin Mueller-Stahl), who has been accused of war crimes over half a century ago. As she works hard to defend him, questions begin to tear at her about her father's past. Just how much does she REALLY know about her father? And will she still love him, even though he may have committed unspeakable crimes? The performances are great, especially Mueller-Stahl.What would you do to protect your parents? Music Box review
A very powerful, and moving film. This is one of Jessica Lange's least known films, but to her credit she delivers as she always does. The plot begs the question, what would we do if found out a loved one was guilty of the most horrible of crimes ? How long would we deny the obvious truth right before our eyes ? This film is a " must see " for Jessica Lange fans, and for those who are keenly interested in the crimes of the Third Reich. I am very glad I found it on dvd.A very powerful, and moving film. This is one of Jessica Lange's least known films, but to her credit she delivers as she always does. The plot begs the question, what would we do if found out a loved one was guilty of the most horrible of crimes ? How long would we deny the obvious truth right before our eyes ?
