This game is quite interesting. I originally thought it was completely made for Kinect, but I found that you have the option to play it with your controller or with the Kinect. This is actually a great fact about the game. If you feel like just kicking back and relaxing while shooting down some super-colorful objects, the controller is the way to go. But if you really wanna get into the music and all the colors and lights, Kinect is definitely where it's at. So, hence, the game is very flashy. The game is fun for kids to jump around and try to figure it out as well as somewhat captivating to an older audience. The gameplay is well-done for the style of game it is and what they obviously were trying to pull off with it. However, I think they made it overly difficult to progress in the game. You need to perform nearly perfect in a certain world in order to move to the next. It's highly based around it's visuals and music that go along with it, expecting you to shoot things as if trying to perform to the beat. This can be a highly energetic game with the Kinect, or just a chiller with the controller. The choice is yours. Overall the game is good, but it lacks a good, solid story to go with it. So gameplay, music, or flashy people ---GAME ON! But if you're looking for an interesting story, another game may be of more interest to you. Don't get me wrong, check out the story line to see what it's about, but it's really nothing amazing.Read full review
From the creators of REZ (also REZ HD on the Xbox 360) Child of Eden puts you in the same type of "on rails" environment, and like REZ it uses music and visuals to make it not only a game but an experience. I prefer a controller but it can also use Kinect. Both REZ HD and Child of Eden have 5.1 audio options, and sound fabulous on a 5.1 audio system. The music interaction with the game is half of the experience. REZ HD had more of a techno sound for the music, and more of a virtual reality or a machine feel, Child of Eden's music is a bit more pop and has more of an organic feeling environment as opposed to the machine environments of REZ. Child of Eden (like REZ) is a short game, one that is meant to be played though multiple times, unlocking more things as you go and enjoying the experience. It's one of those games that I can come back to time and time again. Having bought the downloadable version of both Child of Eden and REZ HD on the Xbox 360, I can easily launch either REZ HD or Child of Eden right from the Xbox 360 dashboard making it the perfect game to launch after playing your other games!Read full review

Like the game plot. I'm always looking for non violent games and this one is a good alternative.

This game completely caught my attention and imagination. Such a simple design, but very deep as well. In fact I think it's one of the coolest designs I have ever seen. The game play with the Kinect is pretty solid and fun. Getting the card made it extremely easy to receive and start playing immediately! If you're looking for a fun Kinect game, this is it. Also if you are into the whole Psychedelic movement, you might want to check this out. I'm going to use it for a lot of my inspiration for my Designs.
Child of Eden is pretty good game. The graphics are great and its alot of fun with the kenict unfortunately with a controller its preaty boring and the games less then 4 hours long. Its the best game on kenict

Energetic or Layed-back, this is a beautiful game for all ages. A sequel to the game Rez, this is a great pick for any Kinect gamery. Probably the most colorful, fun and lovely "rail-shooters" ever. You'll need a little time to complete the levels, but it's worth it when you finally do!
this game will really surprise you

Game takes a little getting use to - but once your in its not bad, very short though. I would recommend this product. I will also say you need more then 6ft of head room if you over 5ft for the arm movements. (Fans hurt!)
The game is visually very beautiful, sorry that is too short. to play with the lights off. Beautiful graphics, the use of kinect is the difference, sorry you have to stand.
