    Powerful speeds and great features

    allows for setup of 2.4 and 5 GHz networks with separate settings for each. 3.0 USB for server storage. Lightning fast and will keep up with whatever bandwidth you are getting no problem on as many devices as you want. Working distance from device is the only reason i four starred. It doesn't reach super far away from my place when I'm outside as I would like.

    Arris SBG6900-AC, Bigger in size, features.

    Very powerful, easy set up, bigger in size then my previous router-modem sbg6580. I also have more items that use wi fi to set up heater, cameras, tv, and so on, this sbg6900 handles with no problem. I bought used so my button on top for auto easy hook up is weak I have to press a few times to activate. Other than that I am happy with product.

    Extremely easy to set up....

    I'm not a professional techie so I can't comment on performance factors or bench marks. What I can say is that the Arris Surfboard SBG6900AC was very easy to set up and it works great. I was expecting that I might have to call for tech support but it was just as easy as plugging it in and then setting up the security protocols, that's it! I purchased this for my daughter so she would not have to keep paying her cable/internet provider for renting their modem/router and the reviews on this item were very positive,

    Upgrade Your Life - Get a Refurb, Save $$$

    This router is a huge improvement over its older siblings. Four internet ports, allowing me to attached priority machines straight to the data pipe (when you have a serious gamer in the house, this is important). As to the wifi function, I don't know as I have a Netgear Nighthawk R7000 that does the heavy lifting in that area. I can tell you this modem plays well with other routers. The speeds are amazing on Spectrum. Thus far, in tests, I'm regularly getting 10% over the stated download and upload speed limits for my service (shhhhh!!!). All this with with a whopping $70 discount off of the new retail prices I've seen. Very, very pleased.
