In the game Strech Panic you play as a little girl with a possessed scarf. The scarf is used as an extra arm and it is able to stretch and pull on various objects. One of the PS2 thumb sticks controls the girl while others controls the scarf. The point of the game is to defeat your sisters who were all possessed by vanity spirits. The game basically consists of a series of boss battles with very minimal platforming in between. In fact there is only 1 type of non-boss enemy which you fight against (the giant-boobed babes in bikinis). The game is extremely bizarre and the stretch mechanics work well. You damage enemies by stretching them or catching projectiles and throwing 'em back. While being very creative the game suffers from poor camera angles and your inability to control the camera. The game is also very short, it is shorter than "Shadow of the Colossus". The sound is also the game's weak point. This title could have been awesome if the developers had only put more effort in such a cool idea, as it stands the game is merely passable.Read full review
A fun, irreverent game. It's got a lot of cheeky play. If you have the same attitude you will like it. Stylized graphics make it look whimsical and always modern. Worth a try if you like unique, oddball games w/ lots of personality. A very casual game.
Stretch Panic is a game very much it's own. To any rare game collector or anyone who likes fascinating games this is one you really must play. The style is top notch, controls well and is a charming good time.
