The description said that these were Ball lids and I would like to believe that they are, but branded lids usually have the name or logo on them. Or they come in the individual branded boxes (12 pack). These came bulk packed. I received more than I purchased but I assume that this because some are damaged and they were just thrown in.

An inexpensive cabinet.
For an Inexpensive Cabinet, it serves the purpose of absorbing the overflow, from my Gun Safe. I tend to keep some of the Inexpensive ones in it. The biggest drawback, is that that some of my Rifles, are too long to fit, unless the pad is removed from the bottom. An example is a Savage Model 12 LVP. Other Firearms, such as some Collector Mausers, are too long to fit. Generally speaking, most conventional Firearms, will fit alright. Came with numerous dents. Shelf screws did not fit in washers, causing several screws to be stripped or not able to be screwed in all the way. Not enough room to get a drill into the box to drill the mounting holes in the back, creating a hassle for mounting. Shelf is not adjustable causing it to be unusable if you have a longer rifle or shotgun. Wouldn't recommend.

Good inexpensive peace of mind
This is a great safe to keep the honest people honest and any kids or anyone you know out of your firearms. For the price you can't beat it. One thing you want to be aware of is the depth. Measure your AR's to be sure it will fit. Mine had to be put in and then turned slightly towards the left or right due to the foregrip not allowing the door to shut. This caused one less gun to fit in there. I was able to fit only 7 long guns instead of the stated 8. I did get in a few hand guns on the shelf above but no ammo really. Overall, I am very satisfied with the cost and the quality of the cabinet. If your looking for security of your guns being safely away from kids or family members, it does it's job well. Budget Friendly, California DOJ Approved
Decent for the price and size. Not a heavy duty safe but at the time of this review it is on California DOJ's approved safety devices. In box its in contact with the cardboard box on all sides, wrapped in soft plastic and styrofoam pads are on the top and bottom of the cabinet. I had my cabinet shipped and it has a few dents along the sides, nothing major that affects the lock or door. The door has some give and a small gap if prying is a concern. Overall, its a fair low cost solution to lock small objects on a shelf and space for scoped rifles with the accessories it comes with.Decent for the price and size. Not a heavy duty safe but at the time of this review it is on California DOJ's approved safety devices.
