One fine tire
This blows away anything that Trek puses on the people. For old steel bike and custom bike builder. This is the toughest tire out there. The Ultras are great but the super is the only 27 1/8 tire out there that is the best for touring. My Vitus tubing hand built Motobecain Super touring loves it. Smooth tire does not get fouled by hot tar. side tread is good for some wet roads. I only ride Continental and Schalwbe why anything else.This blows away anything that Trek puses on the people. Tough Tire For Sure!
I installed them and went for a night ride. As I flew fast down a dark street, I did not notice a steel plate in the road and hit it hard. Thought for sure I had popped a tube but they stayed strong an true for the rest if my ride.
