    Amazing value with amazing product

    I was so excited and happy to receive this copy of the hobbit! It was one I wanted for a long time and the only was this well kept but most of the shrink wrap was still on it! I am incredibly happy and proud to own this copy and I thank you for the wonderful service! You made sure it was extra safe and secure and I can't thank you enough! Highly recommend

    Before Jackson, there was Rankin/Bass

    While this adaptation has its flaws and mainly meant for children, I honestly enjoyed this better than Jackson’s trilogy. Good animation, colorful backgrounds, and good music. A bonus for the VHS release (pre-2001) is that it contains all the sound effects that are strangely absent form all current releases.
