About this product

Product Information

Based directly on the 2008 Wachowski brothers' film, Speed Racer for Wii is a stunt-filled racing game that allows players to take the roles of Speed, Trixie, Racer X, and other characters, voiced by the actors who portray them on the big screen. The game aims to play off the exaggerated action of the film as well, with loopy, convoluted tracks and virtual speeds of over 400 miles per hour. "Car-fu" combat plays a central role, and winners will have to spin, flip, and smash their way ahead of their competition. Control options allow players to steer by tilting the Wii Remote, and the game is compatible with the snap-on Wii Wheel accessory.

I'm not waiting a week to tell you that I am never ordering from this vendor again. Zero customer service, when I try to contact its not delivered. I appreciate the fact the game came quickly however the game though described as "very good" in condition didn't run in my Xbox and no matter what I did it will not read it. It's only 3 dollars but if it is advertised as very good then it should be so. Safe to say I am very disappointed in this vendor and the product that I payed for.

A good price for a cool PSP game, shipped promptly and packaged well. However, the UMD shell arrived cracked so the item wasn't exactly in good condition. The disc itself was fine. Rather than return the item, the seller offered a refund directly. I used the refund to buy some replacement UMD shells and got it working. The replacement UMD shells cost about as much as the item itself. But the seller did the right thing without hesitation, so they have my thanks. Thank you!

    "Fast,fun paced action"

    Wow,this games beautiful colors and easy to to use controller is a giant plus.I usually don't like racing games because the controls are to stiff.This game is smooth.Highly recommend for adults and kids.very hard to fall off the edge of the track,but when you do your right back on track.

    Lots of fun for my 6-year old!

    After borrowing this game from our local library, I decided to buy it (okay . . .not entirely true. My six-year-old wouldn't let up until I bought it). This game is one that he was able to do well enough to unlock many of the additional characters and racetracks that are available on the disc. It has taken some practice play but he's continuing to improve as he learns to master ever more of the point-generating "car-fu" moves. He's very engaged by the colorful tracks and cars and even loves to hum the melody of the opening theme music each time he begins playing. He can enjoy playing this title alone or in multi-player mode so it has should be able to remain fun for him for at least another few months. I purchased a used copy on EBAY for about $9.00 so it was well worth the cost.

    My 4 1/2 yr old grandson loves this game!

    I purchased this game for my grandson, which he absolutely loves! He is able to master the race track and both of us truly appreciate the fact that the car stays on the track during play. This game is great because he can operate it now and he will be able to progress to the other features as he moves along. My only concern is over the myriad of bright color designs and flashing lights. Some children are susceptible to seizures and this could be a problem for them. Luckily for us we did not have to be concerned about that issue.
