Artificial flavourings...
This review is for the sound quality of this product only, not for the music itself. (The music deserves five stars otherwise.) This album was recorded on analogue equipment but mixed digitally (the spar code of the cd is analog-digital-digital aka ADD) which was not a rare technical approach for music recording in the studios of the 80's. And it can be heard during the listening of course. However, it depends on the recording engineer that the sound remains fine and analogue-like during the digital mixing or become so-called "digital-flavoured". The digital mixing can help the clearness of the sound on ordinary records (normal lp-s or cd-s) sometimes, but this is a particular challenge for the "audiophiles" to reflect the original sound in high fidelity.
