    amazing product, worth every penny, highly recommended.

    i bought this receiver after buying and having a bad experience with an onkyo TH-SR806, start having problems with the onkyo only after a week i bought it, so i did some research and i find several good reviews about the Pioneer SC-1522, so i return the Onkyo and i bought the Pioneer, was the best decision ever, the sound is amazing, it's crisp and loud, i can control the receiver with my iPhone, i can stream music wirelessly from my iPod or my macbook, the image/video quality going from the cable/sat/xbox to the receiver and then to my projector it's very clear and nice, truly 1080 on the HDMI, i'm very happy with this receiver

    Totally happy surround sound is awesome

    I could not be happier with this product surround sound is very impressive having a little trouble with the HDMI port but still going to the manual

    Receiver upgrade

    I upgraded from a VSX-1017TXV-K Pioneer 7.1 to this 9.2.2 receiver and I am very happy with my choice. I don't have a 4k TV at this time. That is the only big difference between the SC-1522 and the latest released units. I'm in the process of upgrading speakers now.

    Very powerfull 9.2 receiver - heavy unit with lot of features. Cons: it does not have nice light like some elite receivers in front panel.
